This logo is for the company paramount. Paramount has been a big name in film for a vast number of years and continues to be one of the front runners in film distribution today. We can get an idea that this is a big company considering that their logo is created in the form of a detailed animation which ends to form the paramount logo. The high production value of the company is emphasised as every component of the image is given a physical presence instead of a painted on font. Big named studios such as paramount often change the appearance of their logo to fit with the tone of the film which they are attempting to distribute. This shows evidence of a greater budget and confidence for a film.
Miramax is a big name within films and have produced some of the best films to come out of cinema in recent years. The logo for Miramax is an example of how simplicity can be very effective. The bold font and alignment of text is iconic and can be shown simply without having to dedicate 15 seconds of screen time in order to reveal its logo.
The Weinstein Company have been making films since 2005 and have quickly made film history. Their logo evokes feelings of classic cinema the logo appears to have spot lights that combine to create a W. The use of spotlights were common with the release of films in old cinemas as they were more like events than a common journey that they are now. Through this simple technique, the company make themselves instantly recognisable as a film company and evoke feelings of classic cinema.
